    • In the morning, visit the Swayambhunath temple complex with its famous stupa, the oldest and most significant Buddhist shrine. The inner structures are estimated to be around 2,500 years old. The constant clatter of prayer wheels, the monks circling the stupa, and the colorful prayer flags fluttering in the wind create a unique atmosphere.

    • Travel to Budanilkantha, located at the foot of Shivapuri Hill, to see a more than 1,000-year-old stone statue of the sleeping Vishnu, one of the country’s most remarkable masterpieces. This Hindu temple is a popular pilgrimage site, where devotees perform Puja ceremonies, offering a vibrant glimpse into Nepali religious life.
