Overview

Begin your trek through dense oak and rhododendron forests, gradually ascending along the scenic Singalila Ridge. Enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks as you pass traditional mountain villages. Trekking time is approximately 5–6 hours, ending at Tumling where you’ll overnight in a lodge or camp.

    • Arrival at Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station.
      Drive to Manebhanjan (2,150 m), the starting point of the trek.

      Overnight in lodge / camp at Tumling.

    • Altitude:

    • Start trek through oak and rhododendron forests.
      Trek time: 5–6 hrs

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in lodge / camp at Kalipokhri.

    • Altitude:

    • Trek along the Singalila Ridge with views of Kanchenjunga.
      Visit Kalipokhri Lake, sacred to locals.

    • Ascend to Sandakphu, the highest point in West Bengal.

    • Descend through rhododendron forests and small villages.

    • Trek along the ridgeline to Phalut, second highest peak in West Bengal.
      Stunning ridge views throughout the day.

      Overnight in hotel near Bagdogra.

    • Descend from Phalut to Rimbik / Srikhola.
      Drive back to Bagdogra / Siliguri.

    • Transfer to Bagdogra Airport for onward flight.
